National Hockey League

The Philadelphia Quakers played one season (1930-31) in the NHL. They played in the Philadelphia Arena.

The franchise was moved from Pittsburgh, where they played five season in the NHL as the Pittsburgh Pirates. After one season, the team asked the league to temporarily suspend their franchise until they built an areana. The Great Depression got in the way and on May 7th, 1936, the franchise was officially folded.
